Totem Books is Icon’s American imprint. Our first books were published in 1994 and Totem has since become best-known as the publisher of the famous Introducing series of graphic novel-style guides to mankind’s biggest thinkers and ideas. Titles in this series include Introducing Quantum Theory, Introducing Logic, and Introducing Nietzsche. Our publishing also covers history, philosophy, politics, science, and even sports and humor, characteristically presented to appeal to thoughtful, intelligent readers.

In June 2010, we moved our distribution to Consortium Book Sales & Distribution. A list of all our titles that have been published in the US can be found on our publisher page at Consortium’s website. Alternatively, all books on the Icon Books website that have US retail prices listed are available from all good American bookstores.
